Kenny started dancing at 3 years old, and grew up in a dance family with his mother as his teacher. By age 5, he and his brother were winning overalls at competitions all over the region. At 9, Kenny had the honor of being chosen to dance in the Rockettes Radio City Christmas Spectacular, at the Grand Ole Opry, in Nashville, TN. Through his years as a competitive dancer, Kenny was awarded numerous overall awards including the titles of Master and Mr dance of Pa, and runner up to Teen Mr Dance of America for DMA; as well as scholarships such as WCDE, NYCDA, Point Park Summer Intensive, Jump, DMP overall cash and Barth acrobatic scholarship, and Sophisticated Productions National cash Scholarship to name a few. As a choreographer; he and his brother started winning awards for their hip hop dances around age 10. Kenny continued choreographing both groups and his own solos and achieved 4 regional and 3 national choreography awards before he graduated high school; and even more during his years in college. In 2013, Kenny started judging for a national dance competition; but soon found that he enjoyed being in the limelight and running the show a bit more, so he began to Emcee, and has continued this passion for the past 7 years! Kenny has remained a teacher and choreographer and has been on staff at many reputable studios around Pittsburgh, where students of his shined by winning overalls and titles for DEA, ADA, and former students have appeared on America’s Got Talent and SYTYCD. Kenny is a graduate of Point Park University, with an education degree in Instructional Studies. While there on scholarship, he was honored to be awarded the status of All American in Dance at the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) national finals. Point Park’s first ever!!! He was also a 3 year member of the Point Park Pioneers basketball team and put in many hours as a mentor in Pittsburgh Public Schools.
